In 2023, the Benin government, under the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Finance’s (MEF) Office and the Director General for the Budget, brought together a team consisting of officials from the MEF and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (MAEP) to participate in CABRI’s Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC) programme. This report describes country-team Benin's experience of its participation in the programme. It provides documented evidence of the team's progress over time and how the team is eager to promote the Problem-Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach by incorporating it into educational materials for public administration training centres, and tailoring it to meet their specific needs.
