They share many commonalities

From left to right:

Mr Thierno Bah, Secretary General of the Ministry of Budget - Guinea ; Mr Ohyndis B. Sleweon, Senior Planning Officer, Office of the Deputy Minister For Budget and Development Planning - Ministry of Finance & Development Planning - Liberia; Ms Maleshoane Lekomola-Danziger, Budget Controller, Ministry of Finance, Lesotho and Mr Alfred Okoh, Budget & Multilateral Finance Specialist Energy Transition Office, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We recently held our Management Committee and General Assembly (GA) meetings in CABRI member country, Ghana.

All 4 Public Financial Management (PFM) practitioners and reformers, represented their respective country at the CABRI GA. They partook in and contributed to important conversations on CABRI’s Vision and Mission, especially in regards to our Strategic Plan 2024-2029.

Well, they are all Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC) programme alumni!

Mr Bah was in the 2019 cohort and Mr Ohyndis B. Sleweon, Ms Maleshoane Lekomola-Danziger & Mr Alfred Okoh were in the 2017 cohort - the very first cohort and they call themselves: 'The Origins' and the cohort is still in touch, 7 years down the lane!

The road they have all traveled since then! From BPFC participant to Public Financial Management (PFM) reformers and to some of them, authorisers – this is for you, the magic of the BPFC programme!
