The CABRI/ODI Global International Conference on Public Finance in the Digital Era last November in South Africa was the perfect stage for graphic facilitation. Graphic harvesting, also known as visual note-taking or visual facilitation of discussion underway/unfolding, is the art of capturing ideas visually in real time.
CABRI’s identity is nestled in memorisation and .graphic harvesting is a memorisation tool that we have successfully had recourse to over the years to amplify and capture our work such as within the Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC) programme, CABRI annual seminars and CABRI Policy Dialogues.
Whether online, or in-person, graphic harvests are drawn live at an event in real-time, adding engagement and energy, stimulating group-learning and supporting participants’ memory retention and reflection on the content over time.
