On 9 January, we successfully launched the Building Public Finance Capabilities for Nutrition (BPFCN) programme supported by BMZ, EU and GIZ.
Since 2017, when our flagship programme - the Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC) programme first started, we have worked with around 60 country teams across Africa. We have seen meaningful progress made in tackling long-festering public finance problems and now have a community of over 300 government officials who understand the need to approach reform critically and creatively and not defer to foreign experts and best practice solutions.
Three CABRI member countries are participating in the BPFCN programme namely, The Gambia, Ghana and Liberia. The three countries are now officially part of the rich community of budget reformers.
