Danielle Serebro, Programme Manager at CABRI and Research Associate at ODI Global attended the African Health Economic & Health Association (AfHEA) 2025 Scientific Conference in Kigali, Rwanda, this week. 

Building on the broad theme of the conference, "Resilient and Strong African Health Systems: Contributions of Health Economics and Health Policy", Danielle Serebro shared the key takeaways from CABRI's 2024 Policy Dialogue on "PFM as enabler of greater health facility autonomy". She also provided reflections on better data for better health policy making.

CABRI’s Policy Dialogue held in Mauritius in August last year, brought together ministries of Finance, ministries of Health and, ministries of local government, to reach a shared understanding of how each can support facility autonomy.
