Country-teams participating in the Building Public Finance Capabilities for Nutrition (BPFCN) Programme, namely, Ghana, Liberia and The Gambia met in South Africa in February for the Framing Workshop.

We speak to Bakary Jallow, Deputy Executive Director, National Nutrition Agency, Office of the Vice President, The Gambia.

Malnutrition is a public health concern in The Gambia affecting mostly children and women.

In this interview, Mr Jallow shares how his team is going to look into inadequate coverage for the School Feeding Progamme in The Gambia which covers only 25% of the +3000 high schools.

The BPFCN programme is funded by the European Union and BMZ and implemented by GIZ.
