The Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC) programme is an 8-month applied programme that puts teams of government practitioners at the forefront of reform efforts. The programme applies the Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach which encourages incremental change to solve locally identified public finance problems. With the support of a CABRI coach, teams implement context-specific solutions to their problem and, by doing so, acquire new capabilities.
Since its inception in 2017, 23 country teams have participated in the programme.
Below is a graphic representation of the progress made by the participating country- teams in 2019.
