Mariama Ciré DIALLO from Guinea and Uriel Koudou BEHI ANGE from Côte d'Ivoire, are participating in the 2024 edition of our "Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC)" programme.

Mrs. DIALLO is an Assistant Legal Advisor, Ministry of the Budget’s Office while Mr. BEHI ANGE is the Deputy Director of Studies and Analysis, Directorate-General for Budget and Finance. This conversation was conducted during the Framing workshop in South Africa last June. Our speakers are assessing their participation in the online course which marks the beginning of the program, their introduction to the Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach that stands out from the copy-and-paste method they know and have practiced so far. Additionally, they have both noted similarities that exist between their two countries when it comes to public finance management reform (PFM).
