The CABRI Policy Dialogue aims to strengthen the linkages between Ministries of Finance and Ministries in charge of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Understanding their complementary roles in policy formulation and budget processes improves the provision of quality services for better WASH outcomes. Building on previous dialogues in the health sector, CABRI are inviting African budget and WASH policy officials to exchange on policy challenges in the WASH sector. The aim of the dialogue is to share ideas and obtain an in-depth understanding of the policy and institutional challenges in the WASH sector and to find cost effective ways to finance the sector. The dialogue also aims to improve the communication and mutual understanding between finance and the relevant WASH ministries.
