On June 7, the Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI) held a third engagement meeting of the network of public debt managers in Africa. Subject to numerous policy interventions in 2020, public debt managers in Africa are now faced with enormous debt distress and high annual borrowing needs. Some countries have been successful in stabilizing debt issuance, others still face several challenges posed by higher debt levels. More than 20 African countries participated in the network's third engagement meeting to share experiences and learn from each other.
