CABRI was pleased to partner with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on the E-coaching on social protection: Towards responsive systems course.

About the course:

One year on from the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, countries across the world are still grappling with the socio-economic fallout. Social protection is still high on the agenda and programmes continue to adapt as the crisis evolves. With one in two people in the world not benefiting from any form of social protection, this continues to be an unprecedented challenge. Drawing on the ILO's knowledge and expertise, this e-Learning programme provided the opportunity to further strengthen competences on social protection in the context of the global emergency, learn about best practices and get on the job technical support through e-coaching. As a result, participants were able to devise more responsive and sustainable social protection interventions to help their respective country weather the continuing health crisis and mitigate the longer-term social and economic impacts on the most vulnerable groups.
